Special feature now available for World Communications Day 2010 on www.catholicbishops.ie
This Sunday, 16 May, is the 44th World Communications Day and the theme of Pope Benedict XVI’s message for 2010 is “The priest and pastoral ministry in a digital world: new media at the service of the Word.”
The theme of this year’s message coincides with the Church’s universal celebration of the Year for Priests. The message focuses attention on the important pastoral area of digital communications in which Pope Benedict says: “priests can discover new possibilities for carrying out their ministry to and for the Word of God”.
