Bishop John McAreavey introduces Pope Benedict XVI’s World Communications Day message for 2010 on the theme “The priest and pastoral ministry in a digital world: new media at the service of the Word.”


44th World Communications Day

Pope Benedict XVI’s message for the 44th World Day of Communications was published on 24 January this year, the feast of St Francis de Sales, Patron Saint of journalists, and the day itself will be celebrated on 16 May. The 2010 theme is The Priest and Pastoral Ministry in a Digital World: New Media at the Service of the Word. Included below in this special feature for World Communications Day are:
