Media advisory notice for the Funeral Mass of Thomas O’Reilly RIP, Bridget O’Reilly RIP and their grandson Tom O’Reilly RIP

The Archdiocese of Cashel & Emly wishes to advise journalists of the following information regarding the Funeral Mass for Thomas O’Reilly RIP, Bridget O’Reilly RIP and their grandson Tom O’Reilly RIP.  

This Mass will take place at 2.00pm on Sunday 3 September, at Saint John the Baptist Church, Cashel, Co Tipperary, in the Archdiocese of Cashel & Emly.  The principal celebrant will be Father Enda Brady, Parish Priest of Cashel & Rosegreen.  Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly SMA, Archbishop of Cashel & Emly, will preside at the Mass.

In order to assist Father Brady in his pastoral care of the grieving family, and in his preparation of the Funeral Liturgy, media are asked to direct all queries to the Catholic Communications Office, contact details below. 
 
In response to the wish of the family, and out of respect for the solemnity of the Mass, please note:

  • Photography and cameras are not permitted within the church before or during the Mass;
  • All space in the church and on its grounds is reserved for mourners;
  • A webcam will livestream the Mass on https://www.churchcamlive.ie/cashel-parish-stream/ and a public address system will be in place;
  • When information on the Funeral Liturgy becomes available it will be published to the media.
