Crosscare Hot Food and Shelter Information

Crosscare’s Food Service at Holles Row, beside Holles Street Hospital (formerly known as the Penny Dinners) will be open on Sunday, 26th December, Monday, 27th December and Tuesday, 28th December serving hot dinners FREE OF CHARGE to all comers between 11am and 1.30pm. (Tel: 01-6765707)

Normal service resumes at all of Crosscare’s Food Services at Holles Row, Whitefriars and at St. Agatha’s (Five Lamps) on Wednesday, 29th.

Christmas Day Food Service is being operated by the Knights of Columbanus at the RDS in Dublin for the 80th year for all comers. While entertainment begins at the RDS at 10.15am, the lunch service begins at 11.15am, last orders at 12.45pm. Free bus pickups operate at Dawson Street, opposite the Mansion House, O’Connell Street at Clery’s Clock, and Inns Quay at the Four Courts’ building starting at 9.30am with a bus every 20 minutes, and a return service from 12.30pm.

Crosscare in cooperation with the Homeless Agency are also facilitating a Cold Weather Initiative for persons finding themselves homeless should ring the Freephone Number: 1800 724 724 to book a bed and to find out where the free Night Bus operates pick up points.
