Year for Priests – address by Archbishop Dolan at Maynooth seminar

On Thursday 27 May 2010, Saint Patrick’s College, Maynooth, in cooperation with the Irish Bishops’ Conference, hosted a seminar to mark the Year for Priests.

Archbishop Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York, delivered the keynote address entitled God is the only treasure people desire to find in a priest. See videos below, including an interview with Archbishop Timothy Dolan and highlights of his lecture.

In the following two-part video interview, Archbishop Dolan, Archbishop of New York talks to Brenda Drumm of the Catholic Communications Office about what the Year for Priests has meant to the Church and to priests. He talks about the importance of Sunday Mass and his views on priesthood and vocations. He concludes the interview by talking about his blog and the importance of using iMinistry or online ministry to spread the Gospel message. …
