I warmly congratulate Bishop Niall Coll on his appointment as Bishop of Raphoe. Bishop Niall has served the Diocese of Ossory with great dedication, faith, and pastoral care, and his new appointment is a recognition of his deep commitment to the Church and to the people he serves.
As he returns to his native diocese, I know he will be welcomed with joy and affection. His gifts as a teacher, pastor, and man of faith will continue to enrich the life of the Church in Raphoe.
I assure Bishop Niall of my prayers and best wishes as he takes up this new ministry, and I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide and strengthen him in the years ahead.
