- The following request has been made to all media outlets on behalf of the O’Brien family.
The family of the late Damien O’Brien, Stoneybatter, Killygordon, Co Donegal, who died so tragically in America on Sunday, 6 July, respectfully ask for privacy, especially during the funeral rites for Damien which will take place tomorrow, Friday.
As we struggle to navigate these sorrowful days, we ask that images of his wife, children, parents, sisters, brothers and extended family, relations and friends not be published anywhere. We further ask that the funeral not be photographed or recorded.
Please allow us to bid a prayerful farewell to our beloved Damien without any media presence.
We appreciate everyone’s prayers, care and understanding.
