This Sunday, 31 March, is Easter Sunday, when Christians commemorate the sacrifice of the Cross and the presence of the Risen Christ.  The ancient Christian greeting on this day “Christ is risen, Alleluia!” represents great joy and happiness for all.  The celebration of the Easter season lasts for fifty days from Easter Sunday until Pentecost Sunday.

Father Paul, Martin, Crysta and Chah of the Catholic Communications Office wishes you a happy and blessed Easter;

Our beautiful Easter drawing is by Eliza Long aged 12 from Dunboyne, Diocese of Meath. Thanks Eliza – it is full of Easter joy!
