Information on the Funeral Mass for the late Marian Finucane RIP

The Funeral Mass for Marian Finucane RIP will be take place in Saint Brigid’s Church, Kill, Co Kildare, Diocese of Kildare & Leighlin, at 12 midday tomorrow, Tuesday 7 January 2020. The chief celebrant of the Mass will be Monsignor Ciarán O’Carroll, rector of the Pontifical Irish College, Rome. The concelebrants will be Bishop Éamonn Walsh, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Dublin, and Father Willie O’Byrne, Parish Priest of Kill. Burial will take place privately after the Mass.

To acknowledge the solemnity of the Funeral Mass, and out of respect and sensitivity to the family and friends of the deceased, the use of personal or media cameras within the church is not permitted. RTÉ will broadcast the Mass on its NewsNow online service.

It is not possible for media to connect audio equipment to the ambo on the sanctuary of the church, but a speaker will be available in the church porch for use by audio broadcasters.
