Please see below the Funeral arrangements for the late Stephen Marron RIP, of Beech Drive, Drumillard, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan:

Predeceased by his sister Patricia.  Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Helen, children, mother Josie, father Frank, sisters Elizabeth and Maureen, aunts, uncles, extended family and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his parents’ home in The Crescent, from 6.00pm to 10.00pm today, Thursday, and from 12noon to 9.00pm on Friday.  Removal on Saturday morning at 10.20am arriving to Saint Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for requiem Mass at 11.00am.  Burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.  Please note that the house is private on Saturday morning.

Family flowers only please.  Donations in lieu, if desired, to Saint Mary’s Church Renovation Fund by donation box or care of Brendan Hughes & Sons, Funeral Directors, Castleblayney.

Please note that as the church has a limited capacity, attendance inside the church is strictly reserved for family, neighbours and close friends only.  Out of respect for the solemnity of the Mass, and to provide privacy to the family, the use of camera equipment by media within the church, or its grounds, is strictly forbidden before, during and after the Funeral Mass.  A small designated area will be reserved – and clearly identified – for use by camera journalists and other media on the footpath opposite the Church.  Photography will not be permitted outside this area.

There is no public address system outside the church. Access to the sound system will be allocated to media outlets on the basis that their technical and microphone connections are made in advance.

Information for the media (including the homily) will be provided, under strict embargo, on Saturday 1 December 2018.
