Bishop William Crean welcomes school patronage announcement for Midleton/Carrigtwohill area

Bishop William Crean has welcomed today’s announcement by the Minister for Education and Skills, Mr Ruairi Quinn TD, that the application by the Diocese of Cloyne, in partnership with the Cork Education and Training Board (ETB), for a new post-primary school in the Midleton/Carrigtwohill area, has been successful.

Bishop Crean said, “I am very happy that the application by the diocese, in partnership with the Cork ETB, receives notable parental support in the Midleton/Carrigtwohill area, and has been granted.  This new project will strengthen the already excellent working relationship which has existed for many years between the Diocese of Cloyne and the Cork ETB.”
