On Sunday 24 August, a group of more than 40 people gathered in Shannonbridge, Co Offaly to make a special vocations pilgrimage to Clonmacnoise. The pilgrimage was organised by the Year of Vocation Committee in conjunction with the Ursuline Sisters in Shannonbridge, Co Offaly. The theme of the pilgrimage was vocation, as the focus for the Year of Vocation for August is pilgrimage.
The pilgrimage began at St Ciaran
