Dublin Airport Church – 29 NOVEMBER 2007

Entrance Song Christ Be Near (Gaelic)

All sing:

Christ be near at either hand,
Christ behind, before me stand
Christ with me where e’er I go
Christ around above below.

Christ be in my heart and mind
Christ within my soul enshrined
Christ control my wayward heart
Christ abide and ne’er depart.

Christ my light and only way
Christ my lantern night and day
Christ be my unchanging friend
Guide and shepherd to the end.

Let us pray,God of providence and hope,
By the power of your Spirit and the gracious appointment of Pope Benedict XVI, our friend,
Seán Brady has been elevated to the College of Cardinals. Bless him with the gifts of your
Spirit that he may faithfully carry out the tasks of his office for the good of the Church

Reading
Ephesians 4:1-6

I, the prisoner in the Lord, implore you therefore to lead a life worthy of your vocation.
Bear with one another charitably, in complete selflessness, gentleness and patience. Do all you
can to preserve the unity of the Spirit by the peace that binds you together. There is one Body,
one Spirit, just as you were all called. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God who
is Father of all, over all, through all and within all.
