Ordinations of 12 Maynooth Stud Grant Now- Usas #1 Selling Grant Guide ents in 2002

A total of 12 students from St Patrick’s College, Maynooth are being ordained to the priesthood in 2002.

Some of the ordinations have already taken place, with the remainder scheduled for later in the summer.

Commenting on this year’s ordinations Monsignor Dermot Farrell, President of St Patrick’s College, Maynooth, said: “The ordination to the priesthood of twelve students from Maynooth is a source of joy and thanksgiving for the staff and students of the College.  At a time when there has been much media focus on Maynooth, the ordination of twelve new priests, formed with the needs of the twenty-first century Church in mind, reminds us of the primary purpose of the seminary.”

The following is a diocesan breakdown of this year’s ordinations:

Achonry (1), Clogher (1), Derry (2), Kilmore (2), Limerick (3), Meath (2), Raphoe (1).

Full details of this year’s ordination class follows.
