Saddened at the news of the Popes passing. A man who saw the person in front of him no matter what religion, race, gender, where they from or what they may have done. He was a Pope for all. I pray his work will not be forgotten but continued ๐Ÿ™

RIP Papa Francesca โค

Fiona

Rest in peace Pope Francis,

Thank you for your compassion, humility, and servant leadership. You spoke about building bridges not walls and you did so in your encounters with people throughout the world. Thank you for you Mercy , your moral courage and for drawing attention to climate crisis in Laudato Si. You heralded a new spirituality into the church from your first greeting . When I look at the church , the people ,i see so many faithful women , women who are the glue in their homes , in their communities, in their parishes ,they have so much to contribute to the liturgy and the pastoral life of the church. I hope that your work will have sown the seeds for continued growth and in time when the season is right ,that these seeds will flourish. May you rest in Peace Holy Father. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

Pope Francis brought the papacy to the flock, the pastor, shepherd who never wanted to forget anybody along the journey; the marginalised, the poor, the prisoner, the sick, elderly, young, fellow priest or fellow sinner, he always asked that we pray for him, as he prayed for us all each day at Santa Martha or on his visits to his now final resting place: Basilica of St Mary Major in Rome;
may his simplicity, humility, and human frailty be an example to all Christians across the spectrum, and to all who have or who have not got faith; may we follow his example, that God welcomes all who implore into his kingdom; Each of us should learn to say sorry, ask for forgiveness, and to say thank you along our daily journey; You have risen and brought your faith to lead the world to a humble place of peace and understanding; Mรญle Buรญochas, Pope Francis
