I am so sorry to hear of the death of wonderful Pope Francis. I will miss you so much, knowing you are no longer in this world has made it a much sadder place!
I will always be grateful to have been at the International event of the World Meeting of Families in 2018, where you were present to be with us, so many nationalities came together to celebrate that, all so happy to be there, and it was a privilege to travel with my parish.
I wish I could be in Rome these days, most especially for the Funeral as it would be nice to be there to pay my respects personally, but am there in spirit.
I cannot imagine a better leader, this world needed so badly.
With gratitude and prayer.

Whilst reading Pope Francis’s book called Hope over Easter, I sit in awe of all the coincidental moments and dates in his life and all our lives. He was baptised on Christmas Day and died on Easter Monday. This book was supposed to be published after his death, yet I read it just in between his life and death, which feels very special.
He lived and wrote about his fallible life and the mistakes he made which brought him pain. He is the true example of the Gospel. We suffer, we observe, we learn from our ancestors, we forgive and we never stop believing that love is a great power to bring peace. Pope Francis makes all of this very clear, as an example of how he lived in this world.
I feel Pope Francis’s absence in our world and my hope is he will shine even brighter in heaven and we’ll hear him soon saying, “Still here!”, with a cheeky smile on his face.
Thank you for being a very credible human being, in all your glory and goodness. May God bless us all in your absence and with I hold hope of sending another of your equal.
