DIOCESE OF ACHONRY
The Bishop of Achonry, Most Rev Thomas Flynn will preside at the following
ceremonies: 

Holy Thursday - 13th April 2006
The Chrism Mass on Holy Thursday at 11.00am and 
Mass of The Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday at 8.00pm.
 
Good Friday - 14th April 2006
The Commemoration of the Lord's Passion on Good Friday at 3.00pm.
 
Holy Saturday - 15th April 2006
Bishop Flynn will be Chief Celebrant of the Easter Vigil in the Cathedral 
at 9.00pm. 

Easter Sunday - 16th April 2006
Bishop Flynn will be Chief Celebrant of Mass for Easter Sunday at 12noon.

ARCHDIOCESE OF ARMAGH
The Easter Triduum Ceremonies will take place in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh and
will be broadcast by RTE Television. 

Holy Thursday - 13th April 2006
Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7.00pm, concelebrated by Most Rev. Gerard Clifford, 
Auxiliary Bishop of Armagh and the priests of the parish.

Good Friday - 14th April 2006
Liturgy of the Passion at 3.00pm celebrated by Rev. Seán Dooley, CC, assisted 
by the priests of the parish.

Holy Saturday - 15th April 2006
Easter Vigil at 10.30pm, concelebrated by Archbishop Seán Brady and the priests 
of the parish.

Easter Sunday - 16th April 2006
Mass at 10.00am celebrated by Very Rev. Pádraig Murphy, Adm.

ARCHDIOCESE OF CASHEL AND EMLY
The Archbishop of Cashel and Emly, Dr Dermot Clifford will be officiating at

DIOCESE OF CLOYNE

The Bishop will be attending 11am Mass on Easter Sunday at St. Mary’s on the Hill 
to Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Folk Group in Knocknaheeny Parish, followed 
by 1.30pm lunch at the Quality Hotel, Shandon Street, Cork.

DIOCESE OF DERRY

ARCHDIOCESE OF DUBLIN
Archbishop Diarmuid Martin will lead the Way of the Cross in the Phoenix Park, 
on Good Friday, 14th April. This annual “urban pilgrimage”, organised by Communion 
and Liberation, is open to everyone. It will start at the Wellington Monument at 
3.00 pm and proceed to the Papal Cross, concluding at approximately 4.30 pm.  
Music will be provided by the Communion and Liberation Choir, conductor Raffaela Braga.

DIOCESE OF GALWAY
The Most Reverend Martin Drennan, Bishop of Galway will preside at the Holy Week 
Ceremonies in the Cathedral of St Nicholas of Myra, Galway. 

Holy Thursday 13th April 2006
A particular liturgical highlight is the celebration of the Holy Thursday Mass 
of Chrism at which the Bishop, with the priests of the whole diocese concelebrating 
Mass, performs the Ceremony of the blessing of the Oils which will be used in the 
administration of the Sacraments throughout the year.  Two special features of 
this ceremony are the Anointing of the Sick and the renewal of priestly commitment 
by the priests as they renew their Ordination promises.
	
Every parish sends representatives to this liturgy and the special theme of the 
priesthood is further emphasised by the presence of the parents of priests whom 
the Bishop has personally invited to the Ceremony.

The Mass of Chrism takes place at 11.00am and the Mass of the Lord's
Supper takes place at 8.00pm. 

Good Friday - 14th April 2006
Commemoration of the Lord's Passion at 3.00pm. 
Stations of the Cross in Pagent Form at 9.00pm.

Holy Saturday - 15th April 2006
The Easter Vigil will take place at 9.00pm. 

Easter Sunday - 16th April 2006
Masses for Easter Sunday will we celebrated in the cathedral
at 8.30am, 10.00am, 11.15am, 12.30pm and 6.00pm.

DIOCESE OF KILLALA
The Bishop of Killala, Dr John Fleming, celebrated Mass in St Muredach's 
Cathedral, Ballina, for Palm Sunday. The Equestrian Order of the Holy 
Sepulchure in Ireland were in attendance at this Mass.
 
Tuesday 11th April 2006
Bishop Fleming will celebrate the Mass of Chrism in the Cathedral on Tuesday 
evening, April 11th. a special place will be reserved at this Mass for 
the representatives of the parishes of the diocese, as well as for the 
parents of the priests of the diocese.

Holy Thursday - 13th April 2006 
Bishop Fleming will celebrate the Mass of the Lord's Supper in St Muredach's 
Cathedral on Holy Thursday evening at 7.30.pm. 

Good Friday - 14th April 2006 
Bishop Fleming will celebrate the Passion of the Lord in St Patrick's Church, 
Ballina at 3.00pm. 

Holy Saturday - 15th April 2006 and Easter Sunday -16th April 2006
Bishop Fleming will celebrate the Easter Vigil in the Cathedral on Holy 
Saturday and celebrate Mass on Easter Sunday Morning in St Patrick's Church.

DIOCESE OF KILLALOE
The Bishop of Killaloe Dr William Walsh will lead the Easter Vigil in the 
Cathedral of SS Peter and Paul on Holy Saturday night.  
 
He will also attend the other ceremonies details of which are available

DIOCESE OF KILMORE
Wednesday 12th April 2006
Bishop Leo O'Reilly will preside at the Chrism Mass in the
Cathedral of St Patrick and St Felim, Cavan, at 7.30pm. 

Holy Thursday - 13th April 2006
Bishop Leo O'Reilly will celebrate the Mass of the Lord's
Supper at 8.00pm. 

Bishop Leo O'Reilly will preside at the Commemoration of the Lord's 
Passion on Good Friday at 3.00pm.
 
Holy Saturday - 15th April 2006
Bishop Leo O'Reilly will preside at the Easter Vigil in the Cathedral
