Year of Vocation 13 April 2008 to 3 May 2009
The aim of the Year of Vocation, an initiative of the Catholic Church in Ireland, was to raise awareness of the common vocation that we share through baptism as expressed through witness, love and service. Each month the Year of Vocation focused on a different theme. Themes have included marriage, pilgrimage, young people and priesthood, religious life and how our personal vocation in life can be fulfilled in order to best contribute to the common good.
