Information note to media regarding the Removal of the Remains and Funeral Mass for the late Damola Adetosoye RIP

At 6.00pm tomorrow Friday, 21 July, the remains of the late Damola Adetosoye RIP will be received for prayers by Father Joseph Okere CC at Saint Mel’s Cathedral, Longford, in the Diocese of Ardagh & Clonmacnois.  Father Okere will be the chief celebrant and will preach the homily at the Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 11.00am on Saturday, 22 July, in Saint Mel’s Cathedral.  Bishop Francis Duffy, Bishop of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise, will preside at the Mass.

Out of respect for the solemnity of the Mass, and to provide privacy and space to the family, media are asked not to use camera equipment within the Cathedral.  Burial will take place immediately after the Funeral Mass in Ballymacormack Cemetery.

It is requested that all media queries be directed to the Catholic Communications Office in Maynooth.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
