Father Martin Murphy asks for prayers for car accident victims

Father Martin Murphy, Parish Priest of Drom and Inch Parish in County Tipperary, has asked for prayers to be offered for the full recovery of the survivors, and for the repose of the souls of Tom and Angela Kenneally who died in the two-car accident on the Kilkenny to Freshford road yesterday evening.

Father Murphy said, “I was shocked to hear the news about the loss of life arising from this serious road accident last night.  I am deeply saddened by this terrible tragedy.  I ask the parishioners of Drom and Inch, and people of goodwill everywhere, to pray for the full recovery of the survivors of the accident; for the family and friends of the occupants of the cars, and also to pray for the deceased at this difficult time for our parish community. I pray that the families of the deceased and injured will have the strength to bear this awful tragedy.”

Father Murphy also asked all road users to take extra care on our roads especially as we enter into the new school year.

Amen
